Norman was born and raised in Atlanta and graduated from North Fulton High School, now known as North Atlanta High School. He then graduated from Morehouse College with a B.A. in Business Administration with concentrations in banking, finance and real estate. Norman currently serves as president of a web app company called WillAppoint and is the Chief Executive Officer of a 501c3 called Northwest Housing and Economic Development. He has also served as a board member for Nashville Celtics, a youth basketball organization, is currently serving as a board member for the Boys and Girls Club of America. He has coached basketball, baseball and soccer teams in Nashville and assisted with coaching for his church youth soccer team. Norman currently attends Impact United Methodist Church in Atlanta.[1]
